I am so looking forward to spring this year and getting out to some fun flea markets over the next few months! If you follow me on Instagram, I shared in my stories some fun thrifty finds I found while shopping in Maine a couple of weeks ago and how to decorate for spring.
This is a vintage clock face that I found and hung on the glass door of my vintage hutch in the dining room.
A vintage shutter that I painted a very pale pink and added vintage family photos along with a couple of framed pictures for more texture is how I started decorating for spring.
While I was looking thru the old photos, I came across this menu that a friend sent to me a few years ago. This is a menu from my grandfather’s lobster pound in Maine from back in the 1940s sometime. My mother typed the inserted menu. Such a treasured find!

I secured the vintage photos and menus with these vintage clothespins that I found at an antique center.
How to decorate for spring? This is a good start I think!
A vintage fan, white candle w/ a glass dome, vintage scale, and books all in an old wooden hutch! Oh and some Daffodils for spring…
I found this old wooden shutter that I just luv, and hung it next to my vintage dining room hutch! I added a Bermuda bag with faux hydrangeas along with a small chalkboard for a fun spring touch…
All ready for spring and Easter!
