Let’s visit a bit on this September long weekend about a few decorating ideas, thrifted finds, vintage shopping, what’s trending, and a few other random happenings.

The days and nights are cooling down, the kids are back to school, and just like that, it’s Labor Day weekend in New England.

Join me for a weekend jaunt to Vermont visiting The Vermont Country Store to pick up old fashioned candies, crackers, cheeses, cookies, and apple cider.

And then on our front porch to display it all in collaboration with MacKenzie-Childs for a grazing table.  Coming to the blog early this week.

While home in Vermont, I picked blooming limelight hydrangeas and embraced this old vintage crate. See more in Summer into Fall: Limelight Hydrangeas, An Old Crate & Fresh Blooms post.

I started my fall decor, thrifting at a Savers near me. Have you ever shopped at a Savers thrift store?

I came out with a nice thrifted haul full of fall decorating goodies.  And wow were the prices fantastic!

And I left behind these Norman Rockwell seaside mugs back on the shelf, that I later went back to get.  See how I decorated with them!

Join me to see all the my favorite inspiration from around the web on this September long weekend too.

And you are going to love my favorite fall candles this year, "Fall Magic" and "Apple Crisp".  Heavenly!

Join me on the blog for the best in thrifty and vintage home decorating ideas!  A place for inspiration and community for all of those who embrace antiques, flea markets, cozy, and second-hand decor.
