Vintage Market Days w/ Inspiring Finds!

Vintage Market Days w/ Inspiring Finds!

Do you attend your state's Vintage Market Days?  Did you know that many states offer Vintage Market Days?  They are amazing to attend if you luv vintage finds as I do!  And there's even an app, "VMD"!!  I was so excited and fortunate enough to partner with our very own here in Vermont this year! #VMD

Vintage Markets are so festive with music, food trucks, raffles and all the vintage you can imagine!

I want to share some of my finds from #VMD with you and how I decorated

them within our home.  Hopefully, this will inspire you to check out your own local Vintage Markets!

When I saw this crooked looking vintage basket with the canvas sign and goldenrods I knew it was a must have! The basket and dried flowers were only $20!

And at a nearby booth, BLUEBIRD I found a super soft plaid blanket to match those amazing golden dried flowers!  I just luv it all styled up in my sunroom with the mountains in the background.  It feels so bright & cozy!

These colors should take me all thru winter.  I also found the beautiful golden fresh feather stuffed pillow for only $23.00!

It's a perfect time of the year to start knitting a cozy blanket too!

The vintage lolli pop crates at the Schuyler Pond Home and Garden booth stole my heart!

I absolutely luv the logo on it, making it so uniqueAnd anything vintage with a neutral color definitely works with my style!

I filled the vintage crate with babies breath and some pewter candlesticks and gourds, sticking with those neutral tones.

The vintage books are part of a Hardy Boys collection I scored on another antique trip to Stone House Antique Center.

Luved the neutral colors of this small dried wreath that I also found at the BLUEBIRD booth!

And I found this wooden mirror on the side of the road for free when I was visiting in Maine.  I cleaned it up and painted it gold and it now hangs in our sunroom.

I feel like the small dried wreath adds a bit of texture and elegance to this DIY mirror.

I hung the wreath on the mirror with a large Command Strip hook.

Oh my goodness do I luv these old porcelain letter balls from MARVIN GARDENS

I found these woven wooden wreaths at the Fleurish booth.  I luv the simple texture and the outdoor feel.

I added the rolled up book pages along with babies breath, a couple fall flowers from the garden, and attached them with twine.

They are hanging on each french door we have to enter the sunroom, which is filled with books.  I'll probably change these up, as we head into winter and the Christmas season.

I used a simple large Command strip hook here too for hanging.

Why I refer to Love as "Luv"?
All my life I have been inspired by both my parents and a close aunt with their beautiful & unique antique decorating styles, much of which I incorporate into my own home designs today.  Over the years their letters, cards, emails, presents, and more all included the spelling Luv vs. Love.  And I have adored it!  I have always taken this to be a part of a generation gone by that I treasure dearly!  And I hope you will too friends!
