As we start to wind down from summer here in Maine, I wanted to enjoy a morning by the fireplace with coffee before we headed back to Vermont for the winter. My mother had collected a set of Lomonosov Vintage blue and white Porcelain dishes that I have been admiring all summer. So I grabbed a small antique table that she also had, and set it up for a cozy morning coffee in front of the fireplace. A handful of wildflowers, strawberries, and grapes easily complimented this simple vintage setup in front of the fireplace.
The little candle burning here is from Antique Candle Co.! I just love the small sample package of 4 fall candles that they offer. They smell so beautiful even when they are not lit and scattered throughout the home. One of my favorite candles for sure! This one is Apple Spice.
The blue hydrangea silverware pouches are such a favorite of mine for my recent table settings. You may find them here at Cutlery Couture. They offer a variety of patterns to choose from.
A few antique irons were displayed in front of the fire, along with a simple duraflame log in the fireplace. I purchase these by the box so I have them on hand to light when I don’t feel like lighting up an entire fire. Perfect for morning coffee.

The braided rug is a rug that my mother made years ago. My grandmother also made braided rugs. I have them all still, and they are scattered throughout the home here in Maine.

Ella of course had to make herself comfortable while we enjoyed our morning coffee in the living room. She is perched on the new sectional from Four Seasons Furniture that we purchased locally from The Weekender House for the living room that is slipcovered for easy on-and-off washing.
