Loved the new blog post! So many wonderful suggestions!
I’m so glad Nicolette, thanks so much for stopping by and happy thrifting!
Hi Ann – My name is Anna. I am also an antiques dealer, a blogger, and I work full time (because I have to pay the bills). I lived in Maine for 7 years and go back every 6 months to visit family. I was touched to see that we shop at many of the same places. This was such a good post with so many good resources. By the way, when I went to Maine in November it looked like Hutchins Antiques was closed. Hopefully not. It would be sad to see it closed. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.
Awww welcome and I love that you’re from Maine. Hutchins Antiques is one of my favorites but it burned down this summer. It was awful. We were there when it did. I haven’t heard whether they will rebuild or not. I know it was a big family business. Super sad.
You are surrounded by so many beautiful shops. NJ has nothing. I miss traveling to Newport, RI. They had so many great shops around the area
We are fortunate as I miss them when in Vermont😉
I think I need to plan a trip out East. What wonderful places. Thanks for sharing.
I hope you get to make the trip soon. You are so welcome💙
I haven’t been to the Nest in Portsmouth…I found it by accident when we were detoured heading to get my haircut.
Oh Andrea is great Jennifer. I met her through my friend Lisa who you also met🙌🏻
Enjoyed your tour! I also love the two antique/vintage shops in Arundel on Rte 1; there is a goodsized flea market there in the summertime, too! I’d love to get to VT again; Shelburne Village is one of my favorite places!
I heard about that flea market, I need to try it out this summer for sure! I hope you make it to Vermont soon. It’s such a beautiful state!
This post is very welcome and fun! The photos are beautiful and the descriptions are enticing! Thank you so much for sharing this treasure trove of shops.
Thank you so much Kristine. I appreciate you stopping by today!
Absolutely LOVE both of your gorgeous homes!
Thank you so very much Alison. Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for posting this! Shelley from CalypsointheCountry told me to come meet you here and read this article!
