Lynton England Vintage Blue Dishes for a Blue and White Fall Porch Table
There’s something about vintage blue and white china that just feels like fall in Vermont, especially when it’s a little mismatched, a little faded, and full of charm. This Lynton England dishware set is no exception. I found all 35 pieces tucked away at Vintage Market Days Vermont, and the moment I saw those soft blue florals and warm brown undertones, I knew they had to come home with me.

They may be delicate in appearance, but they’ve proven sturdy enough for everything from cozy porch breakfasts to appetizers by the fire pit. And while I haven’t been able to dig up much on this particular Lynton England pattern, that just makes them feel even more like a hidden treasure.
Styled on my well-loved secondhand wallpaper table, these dishes bring a collected, nostalgic vibe that pairs perfectly with the crisp air and crunchy leaves of the season.

Creating a Blue and White Fall Table with Vintage Market Style
Looking to style a blue and white fall table with cozy vintage charm? Pair your favorite thrifted dishes with unique market finds and subtle autumn tones for a look that feels collected, warm, and a little unexpected. This season, I’m blending classic blue and white dishware with natural textures and a surprising pop of green, using vintage spindles I found at Vintage Market Days Vermont.
It’s a fun reminder that your fall table doesn’t need to be orange and brown to feel seasonal; blue and green fall decor can be just as inviting.
Layer Your Blue and White Place Settings with Unexpected Details
To create a layered, collected look, start with three stacked plates in different sizes, all in blue and white transferware or whatever vintage dishware you love. Top each setting with a small bowl or ramekin, and tuck in a charming detail like a vintage spool of thread, a dried flower, or even a miniature pumpkin.

Here, I used vintage spindles with green thread detailing, tall enough to add visual interest and just quirky enough to start a conversation. You can often find these at flea markets, antique shops, or local barn sales. They’re the kind of item you never knew you needed, until you spot one!

How to Style a Fall Centerpiece for a Blue and White Porch Table
Wondering how to style a casual fall centerpiece for a blue and white table setting? Start simple. You don’t need anything fancy, just gather a few seasonal staples like pumpkins, gourds, and dried hydrangeas, and let the colors and textures do the talking.

For this easy fall porch table centerpiece, I created a loose, overflowing arrangement right down the middle of the table. Different-sized white and orange pumpkins, heirloom gourds in soft greens, and a mason jar filled with dried hydrangeas added softness, movement, and just the right amount of seasonal charm.

This kind of blue and white fall table decor works especially well outside. The soft blues from the dishware and napkins play beautifully with the warm tones of the gourds and pumpkins, while the dried florals add that cozy, timeworn feel that vintage fall styling is all about.

If you’re decorating an outdoor fall table on a porch, this kind of centerpiece is an easy go-to. No fuss. No symmetry. Just pile it on and enjoy the view, especially when you’re surrounded by Vermont’s moody mountain backdrop and the colors of the season.

Your table is gorgeous Ann, especially being outdoors with the fabulous fall views. I’m in love with your blue and white dishes.
We are thinking alike, I was just over on your blog too:)
Hi Ann! Your enthusiasm for your new English/Lynton dishes is easy to catch. It put me in a bit of a sleuthing mood myself. I ended up contacting 3 different antique specialists in blue and white dishes. They are all in England. (I hope you don’t mind, but I cropped two of your table setting photos to send to the experts”. The first one said he had no clue. The second said it was difficult due to lack of stamp or name identifier, but that it was Staffordshire c.1910. The third person had the answer with the most information.
“ Hello
There were many patterns produced over the late 1800s and first part of the 1900s., often for export and the maker did not consider it worth adding their name. Very difficult to identify maker in those circumstances.“
Do you have a receipt or remember the dealer you purchased these from? You could contact them and find out where he/she found them, and then contact that dealer, and follow it back as far as you can. You may get lucky and find some more! That’s the best solution I have right now. Wish I could have come up with the magic answer!
Best Regards,
